Flaky, golden, and irresistibly buttery, Jo’s Buttermilk Biscuits are a true labor of love. After a full year of recipe testing and dozens of batches, Jo finally found her way to the perfect biscuit. Every bite is warm, layered, and melt-in-your-mouth good. There’s really no wrong way to eat a biscuit; warm with butter, drizzled with honey or jam, topped with gravy, or smeared with strawberry butter.

Baking Instructions

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place oven rack in the middle position and preheat to 400°F. 
  2. Remove plastic packaging and place frozen biscuits on a parchment lined baking sheet at least an inch apart.
  3. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until golden brown.
  4. Brush the tops of biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with flaky salt. Serve warm.
