“Hands down, my favorite way to eat a biscuit is warmed and topped with a spoonful of strawberry butter.”—Jo
Total 35 minutes | Active 10 minutes | Makes 6 biscuits and about 1 cup of butter
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package of Magnolia Table Jo’s Buttermilk Biscuits
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- ¼ cup strawberry preserves, homemade or store-bought
- ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
DIRECTIONS
1. To make the biscuits: Place oven rack in the middle position and preheat to 400°F.
2. Remove plastic packaging and place frozen biscuits on a parchment lined baking sheet at least an inch apart.
3. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
4. While biscuits are baking, prepare the strawberry butter: In a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat the butter on high speed until light and fluffy, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the speed to low and add the preserves 1 tablespoon at a time until well incorporated. Sprinkle in the salt and beat on high until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes.
5. Once baked, brush the tops of biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with flaky salt. Serve warm with strawberry butter.
