Spring in a Can

"I bought Garden Trowel paint almost two years ago when we painted the whole interior of the house either Shiplap or Cupola. I used this shade for an accent wall in the dinning room which has a vaulted ceiling as well as the hallway going upstairs...I am absolutely in love with this color - even today, two years later!! It blends perfectly with Cupola and it serves as a "punch" of color in the Shiplap dinning room. Depending on the time of day the color changes but I love all the different depths it brings to the room. It's calming and serene but dark enough to be a little sassy! We had it professionally done and they couldn't get over the quality of the paint. While they hadn't used it before they swore that this was going to be what they use going forward. It goes on smooth, covers well and I can verify that it is washable and looks beautiful even after spot cleaning with mild soap and water. I also love the fact that I could purchase large stick and peel swatches of paint, put them all over the house at different times of the day and night and see how the colors looked in each area. I felt confident purchasing the large amount of paint that was need to do the entire interior of the house. I can't thank you enough for this wonderful product and for the ease of picking out a color that will last many years! Bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

Great color and makes cabinets look amazing

"Love the way this color made the white-ish cabinets in our kitchen pop. Loved the color so much, we continued it into our family room (the rooms really are continuous but we've always had two different colors in the kitchen/fam room). I thought Garden Trowel might be too dark for my taste, but that was not the case. And my husband loves it even more. It's a warm dark gray. It also works with our red brick fireplace and pine cabinets in the family room which surprised me. (I was pretty anxious about changing colors until the paint dried and looked so beautiful.) My eclectic country furnishings really work well with this color. I'm generally not brave in my decorating, tending to go with the current trends, but in this case, I'm so glad I tried something different in my home. Depending on the time of day, the color does seem to change, but I've liked all the shades. I think the color is pretty true to the sample card I picked up at Miller Paint (they are selling the Magnolia line now), but I bought sample cans and painted poster boards (to hold up in different areas of the room) before deciding on the color that I liked best--I probably purchased 8 different samples before deciding on Garden Trowel."

Love Love Love this paint!

"Ok, so I went over board. My local ace hardware in our town carry's the magnolia paint brand. Whoo hoo! I ended up buying 8 samples of grays. I Know, but I wanted to get it right. Finally ended up going with my gut feeling and chose Garden trowel. I'm an avid gardner at heart. Thought maybe it would not go with my black buffalo check valances (not getting rid o them, paid too much $$$) with Barn red walls in my master bedroom. I first painted my master bath. Loved it. Depending on the time of day it can look like a light gray, brown garden dirt or even a green. I them proceeded to paint the red bedroom thinking that I would need to do several coats. Boy was I wrong. I had purchased 2 gallons to do both my master bath & bedroom. This paint is killer. I have completed both and still have 3/4 of a gallon left. going in the library I only had to do 1 coat. Amazing!! I am going to be painting my family room and kitchen cabinets and will definitely be using Magnolia paint. Thank you Joanna!!!"

Rich color and great quality!

"I purchased this paint last summer for a bathroom we were remodeling. I was sent the wrong sheen but a quick phone call and uploaded picture of the item took care of the problem. I received the corrected order in days and was allowed to keep the previous shipment. It is a beautiful, rich color and the quality is one of the best I've ever used. It really goes a long way and has excellent coverage. I will definitely use this paint again!"
