"It's a nice holder but can be a bit lopsided if too many bananas are added. Maybe add more weight at the base to level out. Otherwise it looks much better than the two piece plastic one I had. My wife approves too."

Let down

"The stand arrived really well packaged, although really smelly, but that faded after it aired out a bit:) I was worried the stand may be slightly wobbly, but it actually sits perfectly flush on the counter! Where I’m disappointed is the color—mine isn’t even close to what is shown online. I recognize that every piece of wood takes stain differently, but what I received isn’t even in the ballpark. Online, the stand is shown in a warm pecan stain…mine looks like espresso. Maybe if I lightly sand it, the stain will look better in my kitchen? Also, just a slight bit sloppy, it looks like whoever stained it had something sticky on their fingers…mine has a few shiny dark spots on the back:("

"It is nice, but six bananas made it tip over. I had to remove one banana to keep it upright. The stand is simple and nice, bit it is very light weight. A stronger, heavier wood would be better even if you have to pay a little more."
