Along with the hope of cooler weather and renewed routines, fall can offer a moment of pause. Time at hand is an opportunity to take note of our rhythms, adjust, and move forward with what makes our hearts sing. Attune. This is the theme woven throughout our brand this season, inspiring Magnolia Journal, our latest product collection, and the handcrafted displays inside Magnolia Market.
From initial sketches to beautiful reality, we’re sharing how our talented Visual Display Team transformed our flagship store in Waco, Texas, with crafted, themed scenes.
The Inspiration
This season’s displays were inspired by one of Jo’s favorite ways to slow down and savor the beauty of time—pressing and preserving flowers in her rose cottage. Around the store, you’ll see nods to this pastime through dried florals, autumnal hues, and archival displays reminiscent of a workshop setting.

The Vision
Here’s a look at some initial iterations our Visual Display Team mocked up before crafting the displays.
The Final Displays
Without further ado, let’s take a look inside the Market!
Attune Wall
When you first enter the store, you’ll see a wall reminiscent of European flower store windows. A curated selection of dried stems is layered behind the glass and bordered with ornate wooden trim, marked by timeless green paint and tulip-inspired carvings. This detailing pairs back to pieces in our fall collection.
“Easing into the rhythms of fall” is painted in the center, nodding to the cover quote on our fall Magnolia Journal. The custom-sewn awning is lined with scallop detailing, a common theme throughout the Market both in product and on display.
Herbarium Displays
As you continue though the store, you’ll see two custom-made displays that were specially designed to showcase hand-pressed flowers and cloches. Each of these nods to an herbarium study, featuring weathered wood, nostalgic fixtures, and museum-inspired details that lend an archival feel.
Dried Florals
The dried florals hanging above the kitchen display (and throughout the store) are a combination of sourced flowers, as well as blooms that were locally foraged and dried by our team in Waco. These further emulate a craft workshop in progress, celebrating nature’s beauty frozen in time.
Case + Cloches
Toward the back of the store, you’ll find a bentwood fixture displaying timeless florals reaching upward and out, contained in vintage-like glass cloches. The suspended wooden shelf atop the table was specially crafted by our woodshop.
Print Wall
To tie everything together, the team decided to add pressed prints to the front Market wall where guests go to check out.
Welcome the Season
Now that our Market looks like fall, it’s also filled with pieces to help usher the season into your home.
Something we love: Jo’s Pressed Herbarium Prints. Each is a reproduction of a flower she (or Crew!) picked and pressed, then marked with handwritten script to remember the moment. You can explore all varieties in store—or right here online.
