"The color shown on this site is wrong. Dark moon is the perfect light grey with blue undertones. The photos all show a sage green. I painted all my bedrooms this color and get tons of compliments on the color. "

THIS WARRANTY IS NOT VALID WHEN THE PRODUCT IS NOT PROPERLY APPLIED TO A PROPERLY PREPARED SURFACE OR CARED FOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LABEL DIRECTIONS. This warranty is not transferable.

The perfect gray blue
"I’ve been trying to find the perfect gray with a tint of blue and this is it! If you love a beachy gray blue you will love this ain’t color. It’s light and airy and makes the room feel welcoming. This paint is so great I only used one coat and it was perfect coverage. Magnolia paint is the best paint I’ve ever used, highly recommend!"

As I opened it seemed
"As I opened it seemed the color injection wasn’t perfectly aligned as there was paint on the rim. I shook it prior to opening and it still seemed like a streaky color. Managed to do the job in showing me how it would look"

"Very subtle color. We put it in our master bedroom. I love Magnolia paint as it is. My entire house has Magnolia. Amazing coverage, easy to clean without washing the paint off the wall, and looks wonderful!"

Different than expected
"I wanted to love this paint. We are choosing cool grays, blues, and greens for an entire house remodel. We did our due diligence and ordered 8oz samples. When we put Dark Moon on the wall it was so light that it was hard to see pigment. We were under a time crunch so we decided to pull the plug. In full disclosure, we did have this color custom matched at Sherwin Williams. I confirmed that it was the same dried color in store. We bought the best paint they have for sale, Emerald. When the room dried it appeared to be a cool gray with hints of purple and blue. Completely different than what we expected. While we like the color and plan to use it again, it was not what we intended. I am calling today to make sure they sent the correct color combination."

Love this color
"We had flown in to town to freshen up a rental that we were going to be putting up for sale. The local paint store had Magnolia Home paint. I didn't know much about the paint but the associates at the store said they'd heard good things from other customers. I took the leap and bought a gallon of Dark Moon in satin for the bathroom. It turned out great! One coat over a deeper green color and it looks fantastic. Now I'm trying to find a paint store that carries Magnolia Home paint where I live."
