Tomato Salad

byMirta Rinaldi and the League of Kitchens
Total 10 mins, includes cooling time
Active 10 mins
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Mirta likes multicolored tomatoes as they make for a more visually appealing salad. If you find really ripe, sweet summer tomatoes, those would be lovely here. This salad is a common addition to the Argentinian table.
Ingredients
  • 1 pound cherry tomatoes in assorted colors, halved
  • 1/2 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
  1. Put the tomatoes, onions, and avocado cubes in a large bowl. Add the oil, oregano, and salt, and gently toss together.
