The Weck Company began developing its home-canning method for glass jars in Oflingen, Germany in the early 1900s—long before our love of pickling and preserving started. Now they make some of the most tried-and-true jars on the market for preserving, storing, and serving. Featuring removable, rust-free glass lids with sealing gaskets to keep your goods airtight, these jars come in an array of shapes and sizes. From freshly-squeezed juice, to pickles, preserves, spices, and to-go salads, there’s not much they can’t hold.

"I saw these on Elaine Boddy’s sourdough YouTube videos and decided that these are a must for my kitchen! No more fuss with inserts and screw on lids that rust finding their way into my garage can. Weck jars have a wonderful gasket with easy to use clips. No more fuss, rust, and replacement of lids. Weck jars are attractive and I do not mind having a couple jars of sourdough starter on my kitchen counter. I purchased (4) 744 1/2 L Tulip jars and (1) 745 1L Tulip jar. The regular pricing is very good (I bought mine on sale) and I do plan on returning to Magnolia to purchase more Weck jars in the near future. Fill them with nuts, seeds, dried fruits, candies, or even potpourri as a few ideas. I cannot express enough as to how pleased I am with Weck jars, and I highly recommend them for all your home storage, bathroom, and kitchen decorating needs. Try them, you will not regret your purchase."
