The Solid Brass Dove Taper Holder takes its shape from a dove in flight, cast in solid brass with a stabilizing spike built into the candle cup to keep a taper steady rather than leaning as it burns down. At just 2 inches tall, it sits low and wide, more sculpture than candlestick, the kind of piece that looks good even before a candle's ever been lit in it.

Solid brass gives it real weight in hand, substantial enough that it won't tip easily even with a full taper candle burning in it. Set it on its own beside a stack of books, or pair it with the Dove Bowl for a fuller vignette that reads as more intentional than either piece alone. Wipe away cooled wax and dust the brass with a soft cloth between lightings, and it's built to hold its finish through years of regular use, well past the one season it was designed for.

We designed it as a companion to the matching Solid Brass Dove Bowl, so the two can sit together on a mantel or console table as a small, coordinated pair rather than two unrelated pieces.
