What sets this version apart is the fabric: 15 specialty prints developed by the Magnolia design team, from the Thea and Olivia block prints originally created for our bedding and pillows, to dobby stripes, heritage stripes, and a heirloom-inspired tapestry, all printed on a natural cotton-linen blend and all removable as a slipcover. It's a made-to-order piece, built one bed at a time in the print you choose, and every fabric ships as a free swatch prior to ordering, so you can confirm color, texture, and finish and make sure you love it before the piece is built. We love this version of the Simone because it pairs pattern with real flexibility, so a bold print doesn't have to feel like a permanent decision. It's custom-built and made in the USA, and it ships via small parcel rather than freight. Unlike our platform beds, the Simone works with an adjustable bed frame and does require a box spring, with no slats included. Once it's in place, we like layering in the rest of the room: a bedding set that either matches or plays against the print, nightstands within reach on either side, table lamps for soft evening light, and a substantial area rug underneath to finish the space.
