- Trim the wicks to ¼". This will ensure safety and an even burn.
- Never burn a candle for more than 2 to 3 hours at a time.
- When trimming your wick, hold the candle upside down over a trash can so the wick trimmings do not end up in the wax.

Magnolia candle tins
"I received one (twelve nights from my neighbor when she went on a bus tour to Texas). I was certainly smitten be the small candle with the wonderful fragrance. Many candles leave me with headaches. But really liked this one &tgaf it was in a tin - it's so you, Joanna. Then I went online & saw the bundles & decided they would make great Christmas presents. Not knowing exactly how they were packaged, I only ordered 4. They came so beautifully packaged & smelled so good, I decided to order 5 more for gifts. I am really thrilled; however, today (15 Nov) I started wrapping my bundles of candle tins for Christmas, & probably five of the lids on the tins looked bent on top - on each side. So, I was disappointed in that. I was able to use most of the tins for gifts. But I kept one in which one red & one green lid looked bad, I thought. Other than that, I'm happy. It must have been done when they were pressed into the openings of the box. Looks like someone pressed too hard, causing the tins to get a dent on each side on top."
