Some ornaments are meant to be part of a bigger story, and the Holiday Vintage Book Box Ornament does that by echoing the shape of the full-sized Vintage Inspired Handcrafted Book Box elsewhere in this collection, just small enough now to hang from a branch instead of sitting on a shelf. It doesn't open, but its detailed spine and cover make it look like it should, the kind of small trompe l'oeil detail that gets a second look once someone realizes what it actually is up close.

We love how it ties a tree back to the rest of a room's decor, a small nod to the book boxes sitting on a nearby shelf across the room. Hang it somewhere it can be seen up close, since the detail is easy to miss entirely from across the room at a glance. It pairs naturally with the Vintage Inspired Handcrafted Book Box for a coordinated look between the tree and the shelf nearby in the same space.

A quiet, clever detail for anyone who notices the small things on a tree rather than just the big, obvious ones hanging up front. Proof that even a tree's smallest ornaments can carry a story worth telling twice.
