"I purchased this as art for an awkward doorway. I breezed the door open and closed several times with no cards falling forward, but at some point I walked around the corner and saw a few leaning over(though they didn't fall. ) It's more secure than them blowing off the mantle constantly so I'm happy though I wish the rail was just a bit higher."
