"Really cute box. . . but the color is completely different than what's shown. It's a very dark espresso color. The flowers barely show up. Going to be a very cute seed box regardless."

"Not what I expected from Magnolia company! The lid to this jewelry box looked like it was a different type of wood. Very odd!! It was kinda rough-like, didn't feel smooth or look finished. The front of it where the flower designs are was terribly engraved/etched or stamp engraved. . . however they did it. The engraved/etched straight line above the flowers was totally crooked, therefore the flowers were at a slant and therefore crooked looking. Very disappointing!!! I pay attention to details, on literally anything & everything. . . OCD I guess you'd say. So I noticed this right away. The average Joe might not have. Anyway it was not worth the money, so it's currently on its way back to Magnolia Company in Waco. Unfortunately."

What a beautiful, functional and versatile gift!

"This wood "box" hardly does it justice. It's stain is rich with depth and variation, the wood itself is solid and sturdy, the hand carved whimsical flowers soften the sharp and perfect edges and corners, and the hinges are tight and strong. One can just imagine the treasures it could hold, or how to stage it on a table coupled with sophistication, or in a woodsy cabin setting. I gave this away to a friend who will take it to Kansas! Maybe it will hold "Wizard of Oz" memorabilia."
