  • Though sealed, Carrara marble is porous and can be stained, scratched and chipped.
  • Blot spills immediately and rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Do not place hot items directly on the surface.
  • To prevent ring marks, dry immediately.
  • Place mats beneath hard objects that might scratch the surface.
  • Dust frequently with a clean, soft cloth.
  • To clean, use a cloth dampened with warm water and if necessary, a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid or stone soap. Use a second damp cloth to remove soap. Dry with a soft cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, chemical cleansers or sprays, or products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids.
