Prepare for the meals and memories you’ll share this season with thoughtfully curated, and subtly festive, dinnerware. Our Classic Christmas Scene Schoolhouse Dessert Plate is more than a piece for the tabletop: it is a storied heirloom in the making. The design showcases the 1858 painting by George Henry Durrie entitled “Red School House,” which depicts a wintry day in the country. A horse-drawn carriage travels along a snowy road at the front of the scene, while children play outside near a cozy brick schoolhouse in the distance. As a delightful detail, the artwork is framed by a subtle yet intricate border embellishment.

Inspired by vintage dinnerware sets, our Classic Christmas Scene Dessert Plates make any holiday gathering a feast for the eyes, too, as you enjoy something sweet. Each piece is crafted from a durable, high-quality stoneware and finished with a delicate decaling process to preserve the integrity of its antique painting. Plus, all four of the coordinating designs feature a distinct scalloped edge that elevates each table setting. Add to your collection of serveware and savor each meaningful moment together, knowing these are plates you can pass down for years to come.
