The Clara Upholstered Specialty Fabric Bed carries the same gracefully balanced silhouette as the rest of the Clara collection, its softly shaped headboard and fully upholstered platform base creating a clean, grounded profile that feels both familiar and fresh. What sets this version apart is the fabric: 16 specialty prints developed by the Magnolia design team, from the Thea and Olivia block prints originally created for our bedding and pillows, to dobby stripes, heritage stripes, a heirloom-inspired tapestry, and a single bouclé, all printed on a natural cotton-linen blend with a timeless, collected feel. It's a made-to-order piece, built one bed at a time in the print you choose, and every fabric ships as a free swatch prior to ordering, so you can confirm color, texture, and finish and make sure you love it before the piece is built. We love this version of the Clara because it lets a pattern do quiet, considered work in a primary suite, without ever tipping into anything loud. It's custom-built and made in the USA. Larger sizes arrive by white glove delivery, brought in and set up in the room, and the bed uses included slats rather than a box spring. Once it's in place, we like layering in the rest of the room: a bedding set that either matches or plays against the print, nightstands within reach on either side, table lamps for soft evening light, and a substantial area rug underneath to finish the space.
