Beautiful lamp, exactly what I needed

"This lamp is absolutely gorgeous and is exactly what I was looking for. The style is very English inspired, sort of Art Deco. The enamel color accents look really striking and sophisticated. The adjustability is a nice feature. There are thumb screws integrated into the design to tighten the hinges, so they are tight and hold fast."

"Beautiful lamp! I love it. The only complaint I have is the clamps to hold up the shade is not well made. The screw striped so I had to replace that part. All good because it worked and looks beautiful in my office."

Lovely and bright, could be constructed better

"I love this lamp. It's really bright for my desk and it's heavy and beautiful! The only downside is that the hinges aren't constructed super well. The weight of the shade/head is enough to strain the hinges and I'm not convinced this part of the lamp will last long. The first one we got was broken at the hinge, but Magnolia's customer service was fantastic. This lamp would be perfect if the hinges were toothed to prevent stripping. Overall, beautiful lamp and I love the look."

Mixed thoughts

"Shipping and packaging was great. Is the lamp worth the price? No, in my opinion. It’s definitely cute but not for the price. I’m at least glad I bought it during a recent sale but it was still expensive especially with shipping costs. I question how well it’s going to hold up at the hinges because they seem fairly flimsy. It took me awhile to get the light portion of the lamp to hold itself upright. I actually thought it wasn’t going to hold at all but then I was able to get the hinges super tight so it eventually was okay. However, I doubt the lamp will be able to be adjusted higher and lower very easily, if at all, for this reason. I’m learning you have to be careful about what you order online from Magnolia. The pictures tend to make certain items look better than what they are. This isn’t the first item I’ve purchased that I ultimately felt was overpriced for the quality once I received it."
