- Installed pond liner, sealed pond, and filled it with water
- Added water lilies and other aquatic plants, Koi fish, and a new filtration system to pond

- Returned kitchen to its original location in the house and removed wall to open up the space
- Removed doors and enlarged cased opening with walnut trim
- Added wood stain trim around windows and doors
- Added plaster finish to the back wall and vent hood
- Installed new millwork and cabinetry throughout
- Installed custom metal island powder coated in a mid-century green, topped with a double bullnose edge marble
- Installed Spanish-style terracotta and marble star tile flooring
- Installed chandelier over island, new can lights, and sconce
- Added a marble countertop and backsplash
- Installed green gridded tile and wooden shelving in the coffee nook
- Added custom wooden table with reeded fluting
- Added vent hood with brass cage
- Installed new range and appliances
- Installed working wall with wooden millwork and a paneled fridge and freezer
- Added a hidden pantry, including custom shelving/cabinetry, a green tile backsplash, marble countertop, and built-in microwave

- Carried through terrazzo tile from the entry
- Painted walls, ceiling, and original three-step ceiling trim
- Closed former door and moved doorway closer to the kitchen for a better flow
- Added custom cherry wood with reeded glass pocket doors
- Demoed original arched top windows and installed a new large picture window and a door for courtyard access
- Added skylights for natural light
- Furred out the wall to create a nook for the custom-built credenza cabinet
- Installed wood trim detail and backed it with wallpaper, connecting back to the design elements in the library
- Installed sconces and a custom-made credenza
- Added wooden baseboards and trim around the windows, door, and cased opening
- Added new light fixture
- Added accent mirror
Throughout the home, Chip, Jo, and the team also installed new HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
