What we updated:

- Restored original pieces, replaced damaged ones, and stained paneling

- Installed new lighting

- Installed a new tile hearth

- Added a mirror to the fireplace inset

- Added upper wallpaper to reflect the original design

- Repaired and refinished wood flooring

- Painted the ceiling

Butler's Pantry

What we updated:

- Installed custom cabinetry to create a functional working kitchen with plenty of pantry storage

- Painted the millwork

- Installed new hardware

- Refinished and repurposed an antique cabinet to function as kitchen island

- Installed marble countertops and backsplash

- Rebuilt the bottom sash of windows to bring the sill height up to countertop level

- Cleaned the fireplace and installed a new tile hearth

- Installed all new appliances

- Installed new lighting and plumbing fixtures

- Restored the original stain grade windows and molding

- Added custom brass herb-drying rails

What we updated:

- Installed custom cabinetry to create a functional kitchen

- Rebuilt the bottom sash of windows to bring the sill height up to countertop level

- Installed marble countertops

- Installed a marble shelf with brass rail and brackets

- Replicated the original wood paneling above the marble shelf

- Demoed the existing fireplace, restored the mantel but raised it to create a nook for the range, and installed new tile

- Converted the original dumbwaiter into a spice cabinet, but kept the original doors

- Restored and repurposed an antique table to function as the kitchen island

- Installed new cabinet hardware and a custom pot rack above the range

- Installed new lighting and plumbing fixtures

- Installed new appliances

- Restored the original china cabinet
