Even though the days dim earlier in the winter, there’s no shortage of light. Sparkling snow, twinkling garland, tinsel that shimmers and shines—these are just a few of the things that make these months feel merry and bright.
When our team sat down to choose a theme for the season, “reflection” felt right. The holidays naturally inspire reminiscing as we near the end of a year and return to traditions with family and friends. You’ll find this idea of reflection woven throughout our brand this season, inspiring Magnolia Journal, our latest product collection, and, of course, the handcrafted art displays around Magnolia Market.
Now, let’s get into the makings of the magic behind our holiday install!!
The Inspiration
We define reflection as the refining act of looking back to see a clearer way forward. When our team considered how this could come to life in the Market, all things bright and opulent came to mind. Think silver tinsel, café-inspired string lights, vintage lettering, oversized greenery, and more.
The Vision
Before crafting the final displays, our team created realistic sketches and renderings to map out how the details would translate to the store. Here’s a look at some initial iterations:
Final Displays
Once plans were finalized, it was time to start bringing the season to life….
Window Wall
When you walk into Magnolia Market, you’ll first see a large framed window inspired by European storefronts. A Christmas tree wrapped in warm lights and retro silver tinsel is displayed inside, right below a wooden awning lined with custom trim.
“Let your heart be light” is written in red across the front of the window, adorned with sparkle shapes and bordered by faux frost—a nod to the cover of this winter’s Magnolia Journal.
Tree Trio
As you move further into the store, you’re welcomed with a handpainted “Christmas Greetings” sign lined with festive greenery and trim that matches the front window awning. A trio of warm-lit evergreen trees surrounds a table of festive merchandise—including candles, magazines, limited-edition ornaments, and more decor for the season.
Garland + Lights
Lifelike greenery is woven throughout the kitchen displays, intertwined with bright red berries and small bistro lights. Wooden tables are filled with linens for layering, essentials for winter baking, cozy mugs, and more.
A-Frame Tables
Near the back of the store, you’ll find two cottage-like structures, each featuring custom trim that pairs back to detailing seen throughout the store. The roofs are lined with strands of garland dotted with red berries and retro bulb lights.
Greenery Display
As you make your way to the back of the store, you’ll find a long table and a peg wall brimming with real-touch greenery. Made to easily mix, match, and create your own festive arrangements, this corner features each of our five robust collections in their various forms—like strands, stems, wreaths, and more.
Festive Magnolia Sign
Nodding to the sign that tops The Holiday Shop (new to our Shops at the Silos), a custom-made sign with our logo written in red and green hangs behind the check-out registers.
The Holiday Shop
From artwork to tabletop pieces to layerable linens and more, this season’s product collection was intentionally designed to evoke nostalgia—while curating spaces for joy to unfold. If you can’t make it Waco this winter, no worries…our full holiday collection is available online, too!
For all things holiday, including ornaments, gift wrap, and more, be sure to visit one of our new Shops at the Silos, The Holiday Shop—located near The Old Church.
Christmas at the Silos
There’s a month of merry happening at the Silos November 29–December 31. We’ve got all sorts of fun planned to keep you in the Christmas spirit.
