I am always on the lookout for a good ol’ empty frame. They are good for dimension and they also add more character to every day decor for your home. Below are some ideas to get your creativity flowing.
Frame your wreath.
This would make a great focal point above a mantle or on a wall that needs some attention. This is great for seasonal wreaths as well.
Frame a Plate or frame a cluster of different sized plates.
On this plate I glued a nest to the plate to add a little more dimension.
Frame a scene.
These smaller arrangements look more complete with this frame in the background.
Personalize your frame.
Put your favorite letter, number, or initial inside the frame to dress it up a bit.
Frame a mount.
I love dimensional design. This deer head (etsy.com) stands out even more with the frame as a border.
Frame your shrubs.
I love natural greenery, go out in your yard and pick some fresh greens and make your spaces come alive.
I like to blend shapes in my design. This round clock with this rectangular frame adds more interest to this mantle.
Frame your day.
Mail, memos, and letters can look cluttered. When you frame the space it looks more intentional and purposeful.
Make your spaces more unique. Adding an empty frame to any setting not only adds some depth and character, but it also allows the space to breath with its open, airy feel.
