Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Where is Spring at the Silos?

Spring at the Silos will be hosted in Waco, Texas, at the Magnolia Silos.

Is there an entry fee?

No. There is no entry fee for the artisan vendor fair, food trucks, or any other daytime activities.

What are the hours of the vendor fair?

The vendor fair will be open from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Thursday-Saturday.

Where can I park?

Event parking can be found at McLane Stadium (1001 S M.L.K. Jr Blvd, Waco, TX 76704). A free trolley will be provided to ride over to the Silos and back to McLane.

What will the weather be like? How should I dress?

Dress very comfortably. March temperatures can range greatly in Texas, so be sure to check the weather forecast for Waco as you pack your bags!

I’m planning to stay the night. Do you suggest a place to stay?

If you’re planning to stay the weekend, we highly suggest booking a hotel room in advance, as hotels surrounding the Silos typically fill up quickly. Available hotels in the area can be found here.

Does Waco have an airport?

Yes! Oftentimes flying into the Waco Regional Airport requires a connecting flight from another larger Texas airport, such as Dallas Fort Worth. Since Waco is central to Dallas and Austin, another option is to fly into DFW or Austin-Bergstrom and rent a car. Waco is approximately a 2 hour drive from both Austin and Dallas.

What else should we do while we’re in town?

There are plenty of fun places to eat, shop, and explore while visiting Waco! For a guide to all that Waco has to offer, check out the City of Waco or Wacobound websites.

Will the daytime events happen rain or shine?

Unless the weather is considered dangerous to our guests, we will continue with all scheduled events, rain or shine.

Should we bring lawn chairs? Are strollers allowed?

We will not allow lawn chairs onto the Silos grounds, but picnic tables will be available if guests need to sit down. Wheelchairs and strollers will be allowed onto the Silos grounds at all times, and ramps and elevators will be accessible to all who need them.

Any additional need-to-knows?

We will have security present at all times during the event.
This is an alcohol, drug and smoke free venue.
