Unable to exchange/ no sample available
"I recently purchased the chalk style weekend paint. I bought one from Target and one from Magnolia. While waiting for the magnolia shipment I applied the Target option and realized the chalk finish was not the right fit for my family of six - I'd like a satin. I wished to exchange- I love the color- however this was unavailable. Which is noted is their return policy- which inform you to utilize a sample. There is no sample in the weekend chalk style finish. Therefore as a SAHM Of 6 on a limited budget- wanting to support a "smaller business"� and not a big Lowe's incorporation- I will save my dollars and spend less/ have an excellent return policy. My paint can was unopened. I had plans to buy other colors just with satin. I had already spent $145. But "they do not make their paints therefore unable to exchange"�. I messaged via chat, email. I feel this is poor service and I will take my business elsewhere and continue to spread the word."

My Happy Color
"I'm about to order my 3rd can of "Weekend"� in this amazing chalk paint. I have done several pieces in this color for myself and clients and it never fails to bring a smile. Used with the dark wax from Magnolia Home it takes on a whole new level of richness. The paint is creamy and smooth and by far the best I've ever used - it has spoiled me from using any other brand (as has the wax). It would be amazing if this chalk paint was available in 8oz or 16oz - I would order every beautiful color and display it proudly in the workroom!!"

Beautiful color but not my favorite chalk paint
"The color weekend is gorgeous! I am a lover of all things "˜Magnolia' but unfortunately I am not in love with the chalk paint. I use chalk paint all the time in my small out of home business... from furniture to signs. I decided to refinish 2 French provincial night stands with this chalk style paint. The consistency is more like normal paint so it drips and doesn't quiet cover as nicely as other chalk paints I've used. I picked this up at target and am debating on ordering another color from this site to see if maybe I got a bad batch?"

"I can't say enough how beautiful this color is! Not to mention it dries fast to make projects easy! Never having used chalk paint before, I found it easy to put it and the directions on the can were helpful. My project turned out great and I'll be using more of this product in the future!"
