"This set is not brass, if anything it’s closer to bronze. It’s pretty but I’m only giving it two stars because the color is very off. Pretty disappointing for the price."

"I ordered this as a gift for someone who has a lot of gold accents in their new home that she just built with a new fireplace. Unfortunately, when I received the package, I opened it to make sure everything was good. It is not gold in any way. It is a cast iron charcoal color. Yes it is great quality, but I really also wanted it because of the gold color. The photos on the website, unfortunately are not correct."

"I should’ve read the dimensions and used a tape measure for visual; is surprisingly small. Still functional but seems tiny. The tongs are not great for moving big logs. But seems well made. Is not as gold in person"

"Very happy with the product, especially given the price. Similar looking items go for much more elsewhere. In real life, it’s much darker than the images. But I think I like it better. It makes it look more like aged bronze. One of the tools was damaged (metal clasps bent out of shape) so that’s why I give it 4 stars."
