Q&A
- Page 273 has a recipe for Strawberry Hand Pies. The only milk and egg listed is under the dough, step 2. But more egg and milk is listed in step 5. Where does this come from?
- Apologies that the recipe is unclear - the “glaze” section of the ingredients has the ingredients for both the egg wash in step 5 AND the glaze in step 11. The egg wash is 1 large egg and 1 tablespoon of whole milk; the glaze is 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/4 of heavy cream, added 1 tablespoon at a time until it reaches your desired thickness. I hope this helps!
