"Love love the black dark blue sheen with this paint. Just perfect for my little wardrobe. I'm seriously considering using it on our little kitchen."

"Firstly, I love the consistency of the chalk paint, how it covers, it dries quickly, and is very smooth. However, the blackboard is not like pictured photos color wise. It’s almost like a deep navy. I would recommend any of the other colors. Only advice if you’re getting this to chalk paint your furniture black- might do a different route. Now I’m having to just paint over it with regular black paint so it’s added extra steps!"

"First of all I am an experienced chalk paint user but previously used cheaper brands without any trouble . I am painting a dresser for my son and wife so am so disappointed. Blackboard color came out horribly, streaking etc. The color Demo Day that I used on trim detail is pretty and had no problems. I just put the clear wax on a drawer section over the black paint and it's a mess, doesn't grab on evenly . I properly prepared dresser and paint was mixed very well.I can send pics if you would like to see. Please help!"

"I'm a novice but I used this paint and it turned out perfect. My husband's great grandmother's dresser is now fresh and pretty in Antique rose. I am pretty inexperienced but it couldn't be easier to use and I am really impressed by the color choices, so beautiful!"

"I purchased this to paint my bathroom vanity so I would not have to do any sanding or priming, and then covered it with a satin polyurethane. It went on PERFECTLY. I have tried other brands of chalk style paint for other projects and Magnolia, hands down, is the superior product. I am looking forward to using their paint when I refinish my kitchen cabinets :)"

"Tried to paint stained wood vanity. Used very little paint but still went on very thick and the coverage was streaky. Gave 24 hour drying time and color looked splotchy. Did a second coat and the wet paint actually clumped up and damaged the FULLY dry paint beneath it. Sanded down and tried for 3rd coat. Still horrible coverage. But I went with it and tried to wax. Used magnolia wax - very small amount on magnolia wax brush. Waited for it to dry and tried to buff with a cloth and it actually took paint off of the vanity in some places. I'm in shock and irritated I've wasted 3 days on a project that I can't undo. Even if I had sanded and primed the piece beforehand the paint still went on poorly and the wax was impossible to buff."
