Indoor + Outdoor S'mores November 2, 2018 There’s something nostalgic about roasting s’mores fireside, especially when the whole family is involved. What we love most about the method we’re sharing here is that it doesn’t require a large fire pit. With a few tools, you can make these s’mores just about anywhere—even inside. Building a mini fire pit is simpler than it sounds. All you’ll need are a few terracotta pots, clean-burning heat fuel cans, (make sure they are safe for food to be directly heated over), and some rocks or pebbles to surround the burner and hold it upright in the pot. These fuel cans burn for about 45 minutes, so you may want to buy a few back-ups if you’re considering roasting marshmallows for a longer period of time. We opted for a few unique toppings in addition to the classic s’mores ingredients: + Sandwich cookies + Peanut butter cups + Chocolate hazelnut spread + Caramels + Raspberries + Sliced strawberries You can grab some bamboo skewers or simply gather sticks from your yard to use for roasting marshmallows over your mini fire pit. It was fun to branch out from the classic s’more and try out different topping combinations—raspberries were our favorite. We hope this simple idea makes for a memorable gathering with family and friends this season. Be sure to comment below and let us know your favorite s’more topping combo!
