Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines: Episode 5

Tried-and-true Appetizers

There’s an unexpected delight that comes from taking something ordinary and making it special. This episode’s lineup of tried-and-true appetizers perfectly encapsulates that notion—simple foods that always feel intentional.

From Baked Brie and Pretzels with Cheese Dip to Cheese Balls and Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip, if I had to name a few dishes that epitomize the term “crowd-pleaser” these would all top the list. And for the most part, these recipes are made up of a few pretty basic foods—yet when you put them together they create a taste so delicious it makes you wonder if there’s some magic ingredient holding it all together.

These pre-dinner staples have become some of my favorites to make—no matter the occasion. Because when it comes to appetizers, having a handful of simple, go-to recipes in your back pocket gives you more time to spend with the people around your table.
