Christmas Ornaments & Holiday Decor
The ornaments on a tree tell a story and the ones you choose each year add to it. This collection includes Christmas tree ornaments in modern, classic, and nostalgic styles, from Magnolia-themed pieces to decorative ornaments that work equally well hung on a branch or displayed on a table, shelf, or mantel.
How to Decorate a Tree with Ornaments
Start with lights before any ornaments go on, it's much harder to add them after. Then work from largest ornaments to smallest, placing the bigger pieces first and filling in with smaller ones. Spread colors and styles evenly around the tree rather than clustering similar pieces together, and vary the depth — some ornaments hung close to the trunk and others near the tips of branches create a more layered, full look than hanging everything at the same distance from the outside.
For a cohesive tree, choose two or three complementary styles or a consistent color palette rather than mixing everything you own. A few standout ornaments with a simpler backdrop tend to look more intentional than a tree where everything is competing for attention.
