Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas, decorated for the holiday season.

In the air, there’s a feeling of Christmas…at Magnolia! Simply put, the Silos feel like they were made for this time of year. Between the twinkling lights, classic carols, festive flavors, and seasonal sights all around, it’s hard not to get in the holiday spirit when you step foot inside our little wonderland in Waco, Texas.

As always, we’ve woven a seasonal theme across the brand—from the products and displays in our shops to the stories inside Magnolia Journal. This winter, that theme is exhale: what it looks like to slow down, take in every little moment, and make space for merriment.

Read on for an overview of everything that’s happening around here in the coming weeks. We hope the details you encounter inspire you to breathe a little lighter this holiday season, welcoming all that’s calm and bright.

Holiday displays inside Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas

In the Market

Throughout the fall, our Visual Team was hard at work making displays (by hand!) to dress Magnolia Market for the holiday season. Here’s a look at some sketches from their planning sessions:

Sketches and mock-ups of Magnolia Market's holiday displays.

When you first walk into the shop, you’ll see a Christmas village that looks like a scene straight out of a nostalgic pop-up book. Each shape was crafted from laser-cut wood of varying widths, painted, then layered on the wall to achieve dimension. The team even added real lights behind the house windows!

“All is calm, all is bright” is written in the center to match the cover of our winter 2025 Magnolia Journal—another nod to our seasonal theme.

As you continue into the shop, you’ll find more snowy scenes inspired by pop-up books and, of course, Christmas tree farms! Each freestanding wooden tree was laser cut and painted a wintry shade of green, so no two are exactly alike. Many even feature handpainted snow on the branches.

For some added magic, the team filled the shop from wall to wall with strands of greenery, glimmers of gold, velvet bows, and buckets brimming with gifts that delight. Check out @magnolia on Instagram for a closer look at the install process!
