Wild and free and fun… Between the natural spontaneity and extra hours of sunshine, summer tends to welcome delightful moments of wonder—both out in the world and right at home.
That’s why the theme chase adventure felt fitting for the season at Magnolia. Here’s how we’re defining it: A willingness to follow curiosity’s call; to explore and experiment. You’ll see little glimpses of this idea throughout our brand over the next few months. Think colorful visual displays and fresh menus at the Silos, inspiring stories in Magnolia Journal, and our newest product collection celebrating the simple joys of summertime.
Without further ado, let’s embrace this season with open arms—and say “yes” to wherever it leads. Chances are, everyday adventures are waiting in the wings.

Summer at the Silos
These are the days! Some things just go better together, like sunshine and silos. Here are a few experiences to mark your calendar for: mahjong in The Old Church (101 class and open play), craft workshops (like linocut printmaking), outdoor workout classes, and so. much. more. Plus, keep an eye out for some of our favorite artists, musicians, and brands popping up around the grounds to share their talent.

In the Market
Nothing says summer like strawberries, peaches—and gingham. So, it only felt right to have plenty of all three in our flagship store this season. Walk into Magnolia Market, and you’ll be met with what feels like a bright summer day—foliage, fruit, and real-touch florals inspired by Jo's garden. Here’s a look at some initial display iterations our Visual Team drew up:

Once the final plans were in place, everyone got to work transforming Magnolia Market. Many of the beautiful handmade flowers from our spring installation were refreshed with fresh hues for summer. Lifelike strawberry clusters were also carefully intertwined with the blooms for a nostalgic, from-the-garden feel.

Near the front doors, our team added gingham detailing to a gradient of color swatches along the wall, pairing back to the custom tableskirt wrapping the entry display. Fun fact: The gingham table skirt is made from the same fabric as our Meadow Check Napkin!

In addition to (even more) faux strawberries and peaches near the cash registers and around the store, the team also brought in some vintage wooden ladders and wicker baskets to round out the ever-flourishing displays.
Psst, while you’re in Magnolia Market, be sure to stop by The Sale Shop for last-chance items sold at a discount. Find it downstairs in the Grain Barn!

Our Summer Collection
Sun-drenched colors, playful patterns, naturally woven textures. Our summer collection is here—and available to shop at the Silos or online. Here’s a note from Jo on the thought behind it all:
“We drew inspiration from our own stories of summer to design this nostalgic and charming collection, filled with playful patterns and colorful hues that celebrate the simple joys of summertime.”—Joanna

On the Menu
A new season calls for new flavors. And let’s just say, the best of summer produce was top of mind when planning our menus at the Silos and Magnolia Table. (Make a reservation here.) We’re also serving up a few recipes from our seasonal supper club series, The Shared Table—like Minty Peach Tea, Watermelon & Feta Salad, Marshmallow Creme Pies, and more. (Pick up a copy of Magnolia Journal to read about this summer’s picnic theme and get inspired to host your own gathering!)
