In the Market
Around Magnolia, fall is in the works long before school is back in session. Our Visual Team works well in advance to ideate concepts and start bringing displays to life for Magnolia Market and Magnolia Home. Check out this behind-the-scenes Instagram reel to see the team in action, then take a look at some of their inspiration and first-draft sketches from earlier this year:
When you first enter Magnolia Market, you’ll be greeted by a large wall layered in a joint compound to create a relief that’s reminiscent of autumnal foliage (sculptural technique where art appears on a raised surface). Painted copper leaf shapes surround the words "an invitation to linger longer” in the center of the wall, nodding to the latest issue of our magazine and the seasonal theme at large.
As you keep exploring our flagship store, you’ll come across a variety of cloche arrangements filled with dried flowers, mushrooms, moss, and more. These are inspired by one of Jo’s favorite pastimes and how she likes to preserve moments marked by florals in simple, meaningful ways. You can read more about how she creates cloches on page 78 of this fall’s Magnolia Journal.
Toward the back of the store, you’ll see a large hanging installation made with faux magnolia leaves from our florals collection. It’s a little glimpse of what it looks like outside when the wind blows through the trees and turns the sky into a sea of color!

If you love crackling campfires, crisp apples, and pumpkin spice everything, then our latest menu items are right up your alley. From Campfire Cupcakes and Brown Sugar Lattes to Butternut Squash Soup and our 1919 Pimiento Cheese—there’s something for every taste. Swing by the Silos and our sit-down restaurant, Magnolia Table, to try the best of fall in flavor form.
