Italian
While some evenings call for dishes that are quick and easy, on nights when I have a little extra time, this is the type of meal I can’t wait to get into the kitchen and take my time putting together. From the Dutch Oven Lasagna and Garlic & Green Olive Focaccia to the Fig & Grapefruit Salad, this meal is layered with texture and comfort. And for dessert—Chocolate Soufflés so light and airy that even the chocolate averse will love them.
Since these recipes require a little more intention and effort, and I’m someone who tends to rush through the steps, I like to start by giving myself permission to take it slow and really enjoy the process. I hope this episode prompts you to do the same. Or you could always recruit some extra help…maybe someone who won’t eat all of the eggshells (Thanks for that, Chip!).
See you in the kitchen!
