What we updated:
- Restored the original fireplace mantel, fireplace mirror, window bench seat, window trim, and picture rail
- Installed new molding on two of the walls
- Painted all trim and molding
- Rewired and modified some antique wall sconces above the mantel
- Installed a new chandelier with a ceiling medallion
- Applied textured wallpaper to the ceiling and painted over it
- Installed new hearth tile and marble fireplace surround
- Converted the original bathroom into a closet
- Reworked the bedroom entry to make the bathroom en suite

- Repaired and refinished the windows, doors, original plaster, trim work and wood floors
- Added a new fireplace insert and mantel (this was the only mantel in the house that we demoed and redesigned, as the existing one was not original)
- Painted the walls, ceiling, and trim
- Added a new light fixture
