Every year in October, we host a free event called Silobration to commemorate the anniversary of Magnolia Market’s grand opening at the Silos. This year, it’s taking place October 23–25, which is just around the corner! We hope you’ll join us for free fun the whole family can enjoy all day long, including a vendor fair, live music, good food, and pop-ups from some of our favorite brands and partners.
To serve as a starting point for your visit, we’ve put together a weekend itinerary of all things Magnolia and Silobration. Let’s get into it!
What to Do on Thursday
Welcome to Waco! Let the good times roll…
- First order of business: Take some time to get settled and check into your hotel if visiting from out of town. Speaking of, there’s a whole list of local hotels offering special discounted rates just for Silobration. Book your stay today if you haven’t already.
- Next, head on over to the Silos to get the lay of the land and start planning out your weekend.
- If you have time to spare, pop over to our merch tent (located near the entrance at 6th St. and Webster Ave.) to stock up on some Silobration gear, then grab a treat from our new Coffee & Cupcakes food truck to start your trip on a sweet note.

What to Do on Friday
The fun has just begun! Get ready for a full day of memory-making…
Morning
- Start at our flagship store, Magnolia Market, to explore curated product collections and new holiday displays. If your shopping tote gets a little heavy, no worries—we can ship your things home for you.
- Just for Silobration, we’ve invited more than 80 talented small businesses and vendors to set up shop here in Waco. From fine art and curated jewelry to paper goods and apparel, there’s a little something for everyone. Here’s a list of who's joining us this year.
- Psst, while you’re at the vendor fair, be sure to swing by Hotel 1928's tent for a collection of offerings inspired by Chip + Jo’s biggest fixer upper yet.
- Enjoy some free live music from the Silos stage (brought to you by Loloi). Keep an eye out for weekend schedules posted around the grounds—these will tell you when and where you can find each of the daytime artists.
- Get tattooed (temporarily) at the station next to our ballpark.
Afternoon
- Grab a picnic lunch from one of our visiting food trucks, then step up to the plate for a pick-up game of Wiffle ball at our historic field, Katy Ballpark.
- Join us for readings of Jo’s children’s books, happening at 11am and 1pm each day in The Old Church.
- Come shop the Joanna Gaines Barbie® Doll and Barbie® Hearth and Hand Townhouse by Joanna Gaines exclusively in-person with us during Silobration weekend—or pre-order now at target.com.
- Make time for an afternoon treat from Magnolia Press Coffee Co. We recommend trying our cozy fall flavors, like pumpkin spice, brown sugar, cranberry, and apple pie!
- See the Silos from the roof of Magnolia Market. Purchase rooftop lounge passes here (brought to you by Magnolia Table).
Evening
- Say “cheese!” for one of our wandering polaroid photographers and get a memory to take home.
- Head across town for a guided tour of the one-of-a-kind home featured on Fixer Upper: The Castle. Get your tickets.
- Grab a bite from our food truck park at the Silos, featuring some of our favorite local eats. See the lineup.
- End the day at an evening concert under the stars, featuring Forrest Frank with special guests Switchfoot (sold-out ticketed event).
-
Call it a night and rest up for tomorrow!
