Water with the words Ways to Stay Cool in Waco

Summer is about simple moments, reconnecting with nature, family, friends, hobbies, and adventure. Our corner of Waco, Texas, is especially beautiful during the summer months. It’s marked by vibrant, lush greenery, long days of sunshine, a lively community—and the tendency to get hot. However, our little city is also full of fun ways to cool down. Beat the Texas heat with this list of activities, restaurants, and tips for staying comfortable in town.

Waco Waters

Bright sunshine and warm weather calls for quality time spent outside. Dive in headfirst this summer with local water parks, splash pads, and natural bodies of water that are well-loved here in our hometown.
