Mulled Cider

Makes 4 to 6 servings
    • 8 cups apple cider
    • 1/2 cup frozen cranberries, plus more for garnish
    • 1/2 navel orange, cut into 2 thick slices, plus more slices for garnish
    • 10 whole cloves
    • 6 allspice berries
    • 2 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish
    • 3 star anise, plus more for garnish
  1. In a large pot, add the apple cider, frozen cranberries, orange slices, cloves, allspice berries, cinnamon sticks and star anise. Simmer over low heat for at least 30 minutes. Strain and return to the pot to keep warm for serving.
  2. Ladle the cider into mugs. Serve garnished with cinnamon sticks, frozen cranberries, orange slices, and star anise.
