What's New at the Silos October 16, 2018 In just a few days one of our favorite events of the year will be here: Silobration! Before the celebration kicks off, we wanted to share a few exciting additions to the Silos grounds. Magnolia table food truck Our restaurant, Magnolia Table, opened in Waco earlier this year, and since then we have been dreaming up a way to bring a few menu items from the restaurant to the Silos for our guests there to enjoy. The Magnolia Table food truck opened up on the grounds on September 1 and has been serving up a few new and returning menu items like breakfast tacos, Jo’s biscuits, lemon lavender donut holes, and chicken salad sandwiches. SEED + SUPPLY POTTING STATION There’s a new potting station at Seed and Supply where guests can pick and pot their own succulents to take home. We’re excited to continue the succulent station through Silobration! So, while you’re here, stop by Seed and Supply and we’ll guide you through each step to building your own potted succulent. SILOS BAKING CO. A new season means new cupcakes at Silos Baking Co.! Our fall cupcakes are two of our all-time favorites: Pumpkin Spice and the Campfire cupcake, which is a chocolate cake with chocolate chips on a graham cracker crust and topped with vanilla buttercream and a toasted marshmallow. We’re also adding something fun to the menu for Silobration weekend—our staple Silobration cupcake with the addition of colored sprinkles. ON THE GROUNDS A larger addition to the Silos grounds is a brand new restrooms building, located to the left of our Seed and Supply garden shop. This year we added two water stations to the Silos grounds, where you can fill up your own reusable water bottle or grab a paper cup at the station. We’re thrilled to welcome all new and returning visitors to Waco. If you’re coming to Silobration this weekend, we can’t wait to see you! Be sure to bring your raincoat and an umbrella as we’re expecting a few rain showers—and don’t forget to tag @magnolia in your photos. If you can’t make it out to this year’s Silobration, we hope to see you in Waco soon.
