Silos Baking Co. Turns Two July 20, 2018 The Silos Baking Co. turned two on June 29, and we celebrated big! So many creative details made this celebration come alive, especially the blush, coral, and ivory balloon arch over the bakery’s entrance. Texas winds also made an appearance at the party – which meant we had to take down the balloons in the afternoon to keep them from flying away. Most of them ended up inside Chip’s office, which made for a fun surprise when he walked in that afternoon.Even in the absence of the balloons, we celebrated on! Confetti was the theme this year, showcased in colorful banners and a photo wall in our courtyard. To make things even sweeter, our birthday cupcake, a confetti cake with vanilla buttercream icing topped with rainbow sprinkles, was back for the day. A BIG thank you to our bakery and kitchen staff for waking up before the sun every morning to make all our fresh pastries, breads and sweets. The Airstream celebrated, too – with its very own balloon display! Parked daily on the Silos grounds, it serves cookies, muffins and the pastry of the day. It also has iced coffee available, which is a hit in the summer, and can be customized with vanilla, lavender or caramel. Happy Birthday, little bakery!
