An ode to the Lone Star State, this acrylic painting portrays an untraveled road surrounded by a vast landscape. Carefully crafted on raw canvas, this work belongs to the artist’s “Daughters of the Water” series, which features paintings that were soaked in central Texas bodies of water. It is matted on an ivory linen backer and finished off with a flush-mount maple frame. Hand-painted by Austin-based artist and registered nurse, Aileen Fitzgerald.
