Abner & Amanda's Cilantro Sauce

Cilantro Sauce

Makes 1 cup
Ingredients
  • 1 bunch cilantro, rinsed and trimmed
  • 4 green onions, roots trimmed
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 jalapeño, stemmed
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
    Directions
    1. In a high speed blender, combine the cilantro, green onions, garlic, jalapeño, lime zest and juice, cumin, salt, and pepper. Blend for a few seconds, then stop the machine and add the oil. Blend again until slightly chunky. Taste and adjust the seasonings. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
