"I was skeptical to purchase this couch due to the 2 other reviews but bought it anyways and Im so glad I did! It came in a timely manner. the color is a darker gray-green, very similar to how it looks online. The couch is perfect for a sitting room which is where ours is. It is not by any means a "comfy movie sofa". For us, its perfect and a great size. i love the look!"

Poor Construction and Quality!!

"If I could give this a zero I would. This whole experience has been a nightmare. My wife and I ordered the Arlo Sofa off the magnolia home site for our formal living room in the middle of January 2022 because the site said it was in stock and we really like how it looked. My wife has ordered smaller pieces from this organization and was pleased with them. So we took the risk and bought this sofa which cost around $2500 after shipping. Our credit card was charged instantly as the order was placed. Shipping took much longer than expected with numerous phone calls to the freight company to try to figure out where our couch was as no tracking number was provided. We finally received our sofa March 1st and were excited at how well it looked in the room. We bought other pieces to go with it to further finish our room. That our family of 4 could enjoy. To our dismay when we went to sit on our sofa a few days ago we noted that one of the tufted buttons had popped off and almost a 2 inch whole was starting to form where the button used to be. We looked into the hole and there was that button inside the whole of the couch unable to be reached. So it’s been 14 days since we received the sofa that we literally maybe sat on 4 times! To now have a defective piece of furniture from Magnolia Home sitting on our living room that is falling apart that we’re afraid to touch. I reached out to customer service and was told to submit a picture and they would let me know what recourse they would have I specifically requested to have the sofa returned due to poor quality and craftsmanship but was told that the return policy was no return on furniture for “preference based returns”. What does that mean? I hope for a Christian based organization Magnolia Home will stand behind there product and make this right. This was a big purchase for us and now to be out of $2500 and no sofa?! We’re a middle class family and we don’t take purchases like this lightly."

Beautiful, quality, brownish gray sofa

"First of all, I waited a few months before writing a review for this sofa to see how it would really work out. The color (birch) is more gray than brown, and it looks great with grays and browns in my living room. The velvet is easy to clean with a damp cloth, even with 3 kids and a dog living in the country. It isn’t too firm like a traditional chesterfield, it is very comfortable, but definitely not plush if that is what you’re used to. The construction feels very sturdy and there isn’t anything visible that would lead me to be concerned over quality long term. Everyone who sees it comments on how much they like it, but most of all I really like it. Overall, I feel it is a really beautiful and quality sofa for a very reasonable price. If it is out of stock, it’s worth the wait."
