"We purchased a pair of the Barker chairs in 2021 on a visit to Waco. They did take awhile to arrive, but have been very pleased with the style, quality and comfort. We use them daily and are thankful to have them."

"In May of this year (2021) I ordered the "Barker Chair - Modern Velvet Shadow" (in person at the Silos) and I am absolutely pleased with the chair. I was told that it would take up to 10 weeks to build it and get it shipped, and I understood that with no problem. On August 14th I got an email from Magnolia that my chair had shipped and I was excited for it to be on its way, by American West shipping company, and they gave me a tracking number. After checking the tracking information for about 10 days the website said that it was "still in Waco." So I called American West and was told that yes it was still there and they had no idea why it had not shipped. I continued to check the tracking for 5 more days and continued to get the message that it was still in Waco. So I called them again they said that they would check on it and call me back . . . they didn't. So I called again two days later and they assured me it had moved from Waco to Dallas. The tracking info never changed so I called them 3 days later and asked it the chair was indeed in Dallas and they assured me that it was and that they had no idea why it had been sitting there and not moved on toward Kentucky. Finally after two more calls I was told that the chair was in Louisville and I would be hearing from them soon to schedule delivery. On September 2 I talked with someone who assured me that I would have the chair in my possession no later than the following Wed or Thur, the 8th or 9th. Those dates came and passed with not chair. On Friday, Sept 19, I called again and they said the appropriate person would call me back . . . she did and we set the delivery for Tuesday, 9/14. And I got it that day, finally. One month to the day after being told that it was shipped. I love the chair, I love Magnolia, but I am totally unimpressed with American West. But again, I emphasize the chair is great!!"

"I don’t know what I think of it because I placed the order on July 2 and still haven’t received it. Shipper supposedly lost it weeks ago. I’m still waiting for the new one that was shipped weeks ago. I have sent many, many emails to Magnolia and am still at the mercy of the shipping company. I will never purchase furniture from Magnolia again, only because of who you use for shipping."

"I would love to review the Barker chair but they haven’t been delivered yet. We ordered them the end of March and were told we’d receive them beginning of July. It’s now September and we’re still waiting….not so patiently anymore."

"Wow. Interesting to receive a review request when we still have no furniture from a March order. The original delivery time was 6-8 weeks. We ordered in-person at the Magnolia Home store in Waco over last Spring Break and we were told by a salesperson it was 100% refundable, even after delivery. There was never any effort or communication to check in with us regarding a significant delay. It took our reaching out to find out details. After waiting nearly 5 mths, we requested to cancel this order, only to be told it's 100% NON-refundable. We were billed the FULL amount 5 months ago and have NOTHING. I understand there are delays due to covid but refusal to refund a customer's money is not acceptable business. Again, we have not received one piece of furniture from this order."

"Arrived yesterday carefully packed with no damage and looks perfect in our narrow room. We needed small chairs but wanted something beautiful and of quality - these fit the bill. They also have an added benefit of reminding us of our trip to the Silos!"
