No. The “We are the Gardeners” Book Launch Event is the only ticketed event during the Spring at Silos weekend. The vendor fair, food trucks and other daytime activities on the grounds during the weekend will have free admission!
Yes! Magnolia Market and the food trucks on our grounds will remain open during the program in case you would like to shop or grab a bite to eat. Silos Baking Co. will be open during its normal business hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We are expecting for the program to last approximately one hour. The grounds and Market will remain open after the program ends until 8:30 p.m.
This program will be standing room only. No outside seating (i.e. lawn chairs) are allowed on the grounds. There will be an area available for our ADA guests.
Dress very comfortably. March temperatures can range greatly in Texas, so be sure to check the weather forecast for Waco as you pack your bags!
Yes! Oftentimes flying into the Waco Regional Airport requires a connecting flight from another larger Texas airport, such as Dallas Fort Worth. Since Waco is central to Dallas and Austin, another option is to fly into DFW or Austin-Bergstrom and rent a car. Waco is approximately a 2 hour drive from both Austin and Dallas.
Unless the weather is considered dangerous to our guests, we will continue with all scheduled events, rain or shine.
We will have security present at all times during the event. This is an alcohol, drug and smoke free venue. You can find more event weekend FAQs on our Spring at the Silos page for more information!
