As much as I enjoy doing my own thing in the kitchen, I love when the kids are happy to jump in and help me make a meal. In this episode, I have a couple of special sous chefs joining me as we cook up a few of our family’s most-loved foods—think Philly Cheesesteaks, Hasselback Potatoes, French Onion Dip, and last but certainly not least, Lucy’s Peanut Butter Brownies to top it off.
These recipes are simple and fun—and the perfect complement to an easy-going night with family or friends.
Here's what Jo made in this episode:
strips of steak, sautéed bell peppers, and onions topped with melted provolone cheese on toasted hoagie rolls
French Onion Dip
sautéed onions in a creamy mixture of sour cream, mayonnaise and herbs served with crunchy potato chips
potatoes fanned out with herbs + butter in each finished with Parmesan cheese
Lucy's Peanut Butter Brownies
a new take on the classic brownie, with added layers of peanut butter and fudge
